Big Crunch is an arcade game about the Big Crunch made in one day in a stupid big crunch.

Click in the window to play. Arrow keys to move, space to boost with the jetpack. Avoid rocks and things and save people and/or cats from inevitability for a little while.

There's no real start screen so it jumps straight in! Obviously in space no one can hear you scream or other sound effects or music, and the unknown physical effects of being this close to a cosmic event like this may make objects behave or appear strange...

This was my first Ludum Dare, and after submitting a build of my game Toll to Leftfield on Friday at one minute before the deadline, then working all weekend on making moving platforms work for an idea I ended up not liking, then having this idea on Monday and getting it ready minutes before the deadline again only to not be able to submit... I'm happy it's all over, but I'm even happier with what I managed to achieve and the lessons I learned. And I am very sleepy.
